Vety Terms and Conditions

Effective date: March 28, 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Vety mobile game (the "App").

Vety is published and operated by Yunus Başşahan ("we", "us", or "our").

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. About the App

Vety is a paid veterinary-themed simulation game made for entertainment purposes.

2. Eligibility

You may use the App only if you are legally permitted to do so under applicable law and under the terms of the app store from which you downloaded the App.

3. License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store from which you obtained the App, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment use.

You may not:

  • copy, rent, lease, sell, sublicense, distribute, or commercially exploit the App except as permitted by law;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from the App except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law;
  • remove or alter proprietary notices;
  • use the App in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

4. Storefront Terms, Payments, and Refunds

Vety is sold through digital storefronts such as the Apple App Store and Google Play.

  • Your purchase transaction is handled by the storefront operator, not directly by us.
  • Pricing, taxes, billing, and refunds are subject to the applicable rules and policies of the storefront through which you purchased the App.
  • We do not process or receive your payment card information directly for the App purchase.

5. No Veterinary or Medical Advice

Vety is a simulation game only. It does not provide veterinary, medical, diagnostic, treatment, emergency, or other professional advice.

You must not rely on the App as a substitute for advice from a licensed veterinarian or other qualified professional. If an animal may be sick, injured, or in danger, contact a qualified veterinarian or the appropriate emergency service.

6. Updates and Availability

We may release updates, patches, balancing changes, localization changes, and content adjustments. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

We may modify or discontinue features when reasonably necessary, including for legal, technical, operational, or store-compliance reasons.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, artwork, music, logos, characters, writing, gameplay systems, and other content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited license granted above, no rights are transferred to you.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • use the App in a fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful manner;
  • interfere with the App's operation or security;
  • circumvent technical protections or store restrictions;
  • use the App in connection with cheating, unauthorized automation, or unauthorized redistribution.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under applicable law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business opportunity arising out of or related to the App.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

11. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated by you or us.

You may terminate them at any time by stopping use of the App and uninstalling it.

We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms or if continued operation or access would create legal, policy, or security risk.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Turkish law, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, unless mandatory local consumer law requires otherwise.

14. Additional Apple App Store Terms

If you obtained the App through the Apple App Store, the following terms also apply:

  • These Terms are concluded between you and Yunus Başşahan, not with Apple.
  • Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
  • Your license is limited to use of the App on Apple-branded products that you own or control, subject to the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, including Family Sharing and volume purchasing where applicable.
  • We, not Apple, are solely responsible for maintenance and support for the App.
  • To the extent any warranty exists and is not effectively disclaimed, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, for the App; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
  • We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, legal or regulatory claims, and claims under consumer protection, privacy, or similar laws.
  • If a third party claims that the App or your possession and use of the App infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling, and discharging that claim.
  • You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • You must comply with applicable third-party agreement terms when using the App.
  • Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you.

15. Additional Google Play Terms

If you obtained the App through Google Play, your use of the App is also subject to the Google Play terms, policies, refund rules, and other applicable Google terms.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
