Vety Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Vety (the "App") handles information when you download, install, and use the App.

Vety is published and operated by Yunus Başşahan ("we", "us", or "our").

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Vety mobile game and related legal pages made available through the App.

2. What the App Does

Vety is a paid veterinary-themed simulation game. The App is designed primarily to run locally on the user's device. In normal gameplay, the App does not require account creation and does not ask users to submit personal profiles, messages, or uploads.

3. Information We Process

3.1 Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To make the App function properly, Vety stores limited gameplay and preference data locally on the device, such as:

  • selected language;
  • current game progress (for example, the current unlocked day);
  • sound and haptic settings;
  • whether certain one-time prompts, such as the rating prompt, have already been shown.

This information is used only to operate the App experience for that device. Depending on the platform and the user's device backup settings, this locally stored information may also be included in system backups controlled by Apple, Google, or the user.

3.2 Information the App Does Not Intentionally Collect From You During Normal Gameplay

Based on the current functionality of the App, we do not intentionally collect the following through normal in-app gameplay:

  • account registration details;
  • names, email addresses, or phone numbers;
  • precise or approximate location data;
  • contacts, photos, videos, microphone recordings, or camera input;
  • payment card or bank card information;
  • advertising identifiers for in-app advertising;
  • analytics profiles tied to your identity.

3.3 Store and Platform Processing

Because Vety is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, Apple and Google may process information relating to your purchase, download, device, and platform account under their own privacy policies and terms. We do not receive your payment card details from those storefront transactions.

3.4 In-App Browser and Legal Page Access

The App can open our Privacy Policy and Terms pages in an in-app browser. When you visit those pages, standard website request data may be processed by our website host and delivery providers, such as:

  • IP address;
  • browser or device user-agent information;
  • request timestamps;
  • basic server log data necessary to deliver the page and protect the website.

That processing is limited to making the page available, securing the service, and maintaining basic website operations.

3.5 In-App Review Prompt

The App may ask whether you want to rate the game. If you choose to submit a rating, the rating flow is handled by Apple or Google under their own systems. The App only stores a local flag so the same prompt is not repeatedly shown.

4. How We Use Information

We use the limited information described above to:

  • remember your gameplay progress;
  • remember language, sound, and haptic preferences;
  • decide whether to show certain one-time prompts;
  • display our legal pages;
  • maintain the security and basic operation of our website.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data.

We do not share in-app user data with advertisers or third-party analytics providers as part of the App's normal gameplay flow.

Limited information may be processed by third parties only where needed to operate services connected to the App, including:

  • Apple and Google, as app store operators and payment/platform providers;
  • our website hosting, CDN, and infrastructure providers when users open legal pages;
  • service providers that help us distribute or maintain the App, only to the extent necessary for those functions.

6. Data Retention

  • Local gameplay and preference data remains on the device until it is deleted by the user, removed when the App is uninstalled, or overwritten by the App.
  • Website log data, if any, is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, and service operations.

7. International Processing

If our website or supporting services are hosted in countries other than your own, limited technical data associated with website access may be processed in those countries.

8. Children's Privacy

Vety is a general audience simulation game and is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children through normal gameplay. If you believe that we have received personal information from a child in a way that should not have occurred, please contact us.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the App and the limited information involved. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Your Choices

You can:

  • change language, sound, and haptic settings inside the App;
  • reset game progress using in-app controls;
  • stop using the App and uninstall it;
  • control platform backup settings through your device or platform account.

11. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights relating to personal data, such as the right to request access, correction, deletion, or additional information. If you want to make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your request and may explain if a right does not apply in the particular circumstances.

12. Third-Party Policies

Apple, Google, and any third-party hosting providers operate under their own privacy terms and policies. We encourage you to review the privacy information made available by those providers.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
